Darwin Street Art Festival Walks
The inaugural Darwin Street Art Festival in 2017 brought international calibre artists to Darwin to collaborate with local artists and showcase what we’ve got in the Territory. Today, Darwin's walkable CBD laneways and thoroughfares reveal the beauty of our natural environment, the iconic Territory symbols and the humour of Territorians, through its street art.
No true piece of street art will last forever and there is no better time to explore the artworks with Walk Darwin's team of enthusiastic guides on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September 2020. Learn how street art began, from its roots in New York City to the beautiful murals we see today. discover the hidden stories in the murals, and there may even be a chance to talk to some of the artists as they work.
Our groups size is limited so bookings are essential. On the day, look for your guide in a bright orange shirt.
